The Proposal

Thank you for considering me for your wedding day! It means so much that you’d want me to be there to capture something so special.

My goal is to always deliver things that are beautiful and meaningful because I realize that what I’m doing is something you’ll have for the rest of your life.

Video (All Day/Unlimited)

My flat fee covers myself filming for the entire occasion from prep to the closing of the reception. I will deliver the ceremony and film all day with no hourly cap ($2000).
Lots of other vendors charge hourly rates for the day. I personally don’t like that because video can be a little more confusing in terms of being on the clock. Does that cover me just being there or is the clock running only when I’m recording?

Honestly, I would rather just guarantee to you that I’m there till cake cutting or whenever you feel like telling me to leave. The main reason for this is I know I only have a single day to capture everything and depending on what length of film you want, if I decided to leave early due to an hourly cutoff, I just wouldn’t have enough footage if you wanted a longer film after the fact.

I would be bringing a 2nd shooter to help guarantee best possible coverage of everything. I can do a lot, but another pair of hands will make such a difference.

I know that budget is important so I want to also make sure I communicate this clearly. I set pricing up so at minimum you can select the 3-5 minute film initially. You can decide to get the longer edit later on if you want including AFTER I’ve delivered the 3-5 minute one. Or you can get both (2 separate films) but they’re each a single item. If we move forward, I’d just ask that we settle a deposit and then you can choose which edit you want later.

Documentary Edit (10-12 minute)

A longer film including even more footage ($500).

Pre-Wedding

If you’re holding any special events, I would love to be around (rehearsal or reception the night before) in order to take a look at the venue and capture some footage of everyone hanging out together. I want to make something that is unique to you. The story of you both started way before your wedding day with these important people and in a setting like this I’d love to include parts of that too. Plus for the people that don’t know me, I think it really helps people get used to having someone film them. This is completely optional but like I said earlier, the more footage I have to work with, the easier it’ll be in the edit afterwards.
